Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy applies to the Nakshatra360 app and related services operated by ValidOutPut. This page is the direct privacy-policy page for the app listing and is intended to be readable in a standard browser without requiring sign-in, plug-ins, downloads, comments, or special handlers.
Developer / operator: ValidOutPut
Service name: Nakshatra360
1. What this policy covers
Nakshatra360 provides kundli, guna milan, biodata, astrology, and related features across mobile and web experiences. Some features work only on your device, while some online features use our API over HTTPS. This policy explains what user data may be accessed, collected, used, shared, retained, and deleted.
2. Data we access, collect, and use
Birth details and kundli profiles
The app can access information you enter such as name, date of birth, time of birth, place of birth, notes, saved profiles, generated kundli data, and biodata content.
On the mobile app, saved profiles are designed to remain on your device using device storage and secure storage features.
On-device calculations
Kundli, guna milan (compatibility), charts, interpretations, dashas, panchang, and biodata are generated on your device (in the app) or in your browser (on the web) using built-in astronomical calculations. Your birth details are not sent to our servers to produce these results.
The only feature that transmits any birth-derived data is the optional AI feature described below, and only as set out there.
AI-powered features
Optional AI features (such as the astrology Q&A and Vastu analysis) send the text of your question, or the Vastu direction/room you select, to our API, which forwards it to a third-party AI provider — currently Groq, Google Gemini, or OpenRouter — to generate a response.
Your birth chart is not sent by default. Only if you explicitly enable minimized chart sharing do we include a minimized astrological summary (such as ascendant, Moon nakshatra, and planet placements). We do not send your name, date of birth, time of birth, or exact location to AI providers. You are shown a one-time notice and must accept it before using these features, and your privacy choice is recorded so we can honour it. For accountability we keep a privacy-audit record of AI usage (a one-way hashed identifier, the consent level you chose, and a timestamp); we do not store the content of your questions against your identity.
Feedback and support data
If you submit feedback or contact support, we may collect your name, email address, subject, message, rating, platform, user agent, and the date/time of submission.
Advertising data
The Android app uses Google AdMob for banner, app open, and rewarded ads. Google and its partners may collect device information, advertising identifiers, approximate location, diagnostic data, and ad interaction data in accordance with their own privacy terms.
Technical and security data
Like most internet services, our web and API infrastructure may process technical data such as IP address, request metadata, timestamps, error logs, and device or browser information for security, abuse prevention, diagnostics, and service reliability.
3. How we use data
- To generate kundli, compatibility, chart, interpretation, biodata, and related astrology results requested by you.
- To store profiles and settings on your device when you choose to save them.
- To provide support, respond to feedback, troubleshoot issues, and improve reliability.
- To show ads in the Android app and support the app's monetization.
- To secure our services, prevent misuse, and maintain logs required for operations and fraud prevention.
4. How data is shared
- With Google AdMob and related ad technology providers when ads are shown in the Android app.
- With AI providers (currently Groq, Google Gemini, or OpenRouter) when you use the optional AI features, limited to your question text and, only if you opt in, a minimized chart summary.
- With hosting, infrastructure, and email service providers that help us operate the service or deliver support communications.
- With legal or regulatory authorities when required by law, court order, or to protect rights, safety, or the integrity of the service.
We do not sell your personal data.
5. Data security
- We use HTTPS for supported app, web, and API communications.
- On mobile, saved birth-profile data is designed to remain on the device using local storage and secure storage features where applicable.
- Administrative access is limited to what is needed to operate, secure, and support the service.
6. Data retention
- Saved profiles and kundli data stored in the mobile app remain on your device until you delete them, clear app storage, or uninstall the app.
- AI feature requests (the question text and, only if you opt in, a minimized chart summary) are processed for the request and are not retained by us as persistent birth-profile records; we keep only a privacy-audit record of AI usage (a one-way hashed identifier, the consent level you chose, and a timestamp).
- Feedback and support submissions may be retained for up to 180 days after the issue is closed, or longer if required for legal, accounting, fraud-prevention, or security reasons.
- Ad-related data retention is controlled by Google under Google AdMob and Google Privacy policies.
7. Deletion and user controls
- In the app, you can review, export, delete individual saved profiles, or delete all locally stored birth-profile data from the Privacy and Data Management screen.
- You can uninstall the app or clear app storage to remove locally stored app data from your device, subject to your device or cloud backup settings.
- You can request deletion of feedback or support data by emailing software@softwareland.in from the email address used in the request.
8. Children
The service is not intended to knowingly collect personal data from children without appropriate involvement by a parent or guardian. If you believe a child has submitted personal data to us inappropriately, contact software@softwareland.in.
9. Third-party privacy policies
Some third-party services operate under their own privacy terms. For advertising, please also review the Google Privacy Policy and AdMob documentation.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect product, operational, legal, or compliance changes. The current version will be published on this page with the updated effective date.
